NO DOUBT
I'm hard pressed to come up with any music from the 90's that has people saying today "wow, that was a great song," or "wow, that was a great band."
Southern California's No Doubt is one of the few exceptions to that statement, and here is one of their best, I'm Just A Girl.
Enjoy.

NAME GAME
"America needs a candidate that will be in the legacy of a Ronald Reagan and a Margaret Thatcher. That's what I intend to do, be America's Iron Lady."
-- Michele Bachmann, former candidate for the republican nomination for President of the United States.
No, Ms. Bachmann, you will always be America's Skidmark, and I miss writing about you, already.
MODELING SCHOOL
I remember the days when being called a Supermodel actually meant something. However, now it seems that whenever someone appears on the the cover of TV Guide, they get to call them self a Supermodel.
Whatever.
Well, just so you know, the only real Supermodels are the following:
Linda
Kate (yeah, i know, she's not in this picture)
Naomi
Cindy
Christy
Claudia
You know I'm right, because I didn't even have to write their last names.

FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE
"I don't want to make Black people's lives better by giving them other people's money. I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn their money and provide for themselves and their families."
Oh boy, I'm not sure why Mr. Santorum felt he had to single-out Blacks with that statement, but if he buys into the longstanding stereotype of Black folks who are too lazy to work and and prefer to lay around and collect welfare instead, then here's a bit of information provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture that he might find interesting:
Of those who receive housing assistance and food stamps, the racial breakdown goes like this
34% White
22% Black
Within the state of Iowa, where this ridiculous statement was made, the racial breakdown goes like this
84% White
9% Black
Wow, looks to me like there are a whole lotta White folks out there who are too lazy to work and prefer to lay around and collect welfare, instead.
Mr. Santorum, you are an asshole.

I STILL WISH YOU THE BEST WITH A . . .
Fuck You, Cee Lo.
Singer Cee Lo Green ruffled feathers with his performance of the John Lennon classic Imagine, during a New Year's Eve performance in Times Square.
In an act that some have called sacrilege, Green went ahead and changed the controversial lyric "Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion," to "Nothing to kill or die for, and all religion's true." His explanation was for the update was "Yo, I meant no disrespect by changing the lyric, guys. I was trying to say a world where you could believe what you wanted, that's all."
Critics also noted the irony of Mr. Green draped in fur and and assorted jewels, as he performed the lyrics "Imagine no possessions" and "No need for greed and hunger."
What a clueless dick.
