I posted about Washed Out and its sophomore effort, Within and Without, last month. It is an album so good that I went back online recently and downloaded their first, Life of Leisure, released in 2010.
The first album, I'm happy to say, is as good as the second. In fact, it's pretty awesome, and I'm listening to it right now as I write this.
I don't like to make comparisons, although I frequently do, so I'm gonna go ahead and do it.
When I listen, I'm reminded of 80's groups like The Thompson Twins and Simple Minds. The dreamy and romantic tones have me hitting the repeat button, over and over and over again.
