TOTAL RECALL

So embattled Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker survived the recall campaign against him.

No surprises, here.

Recalls generally do not work, and the only politician I can think of who did not survive a recall was Washington D.C mayor Marion Barry. Although in the long run, he did win, because he was able to come back to run for AND WIN elected office.

However, he was again thrown out after it was rediscovered he still had a penchant for Crack and Ho's who like Crack.

Now I realize people were upset about Walker and the way he was able to bring collective bargaining with state union workers to an end, but here's the deal - the vote percentage was broken down like this:

53% to 46%

This is virtually the same percentage breakdown when Walker was first elected. So basically, tens of thousands of tax dollars were spent for an election where people voted the same way they did the first time. Also, Walker, who is currently running for re-election this November, is facing an uphill battle, as his poll numbers are way down, leading some believe he may not win re-election.

Seems like a waste of time and money for a candidate who is up for re-election in less that 5 months anyway, doesn't it?
