Former Dallas Cowboys wide-receiver Michael Irvin is this month's cover guy of Out Magazine. Not a big deal, you say?
In the interview, the Hall of Famer speaks out in favor of gay marriage and goes on to offer his support to any pro athlete looking to come out of the closet. He not only talks lovingly about his older gay brother who died of stomach cancer at age 49, but Irvin goes on to wag his finger at the church, saying they need to "preach acceptance rather than prescribing sexuality."
Very nice.
