McDonald's announced this week that it has eliminated the use of Ammonium Hydroxide - a chemical that is normally found in household cleaning solutions and fertilizers - from the meat it cooks and sells to unsuspecting customers.
The chemical is used to treat scrap meat that would normally be considered okay for dog food, and make it edible for human consumption.
Gross.
