So based on several Twitter posts that appeared this past week, there is a large population of folks out there who were not aware that the 1997 film Titanic, was based on an event that really happened.
Huh?
One tweeter posted: “[Is] it bad that I didn’t know the titanic was real? Always thought it was just a film,”
Yes, loser. Yes it is.
Perhaps some of these people should have seen the movie Dumb and Dumber, instead.
To be fair, most of that movie WAS fiction. So you can kinda see how that impression can be confused with a real situation. (But yeah, that's being REALLY generous.)
