I came across this picture of screen legend Marilyn Monroe and thought I'd tack it up here today.Freshly married to the Yankee Clipper Joe DiMaggio, she cut short her honeymoon to entertain the troops fighting in Korea. She would go on to say several times in the years afterwards that the adulation she got from the servicemen in the audience was the highpoint of her career.
She looks so happy up there and it makes for a great picture.
