When asked about Lady Gaga's Born This Way sounding so much like her 90's hit Express Yourself, 80's relic Madonna had this to say on a Good Morning, America interview last week:
"When I heard it on the radio, I said that sounds very familiar, it feels . . . reductive."
Oh Madonna, you're just so ridiculous.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you her video Material Girl, from the album Like A Virgin.
It is a feast of originality, in both concept and execution, and in no way, shape or form, borrows ANYTHING from Marilyn Monroe's iconic Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend musical number from the classic movie, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
