The September 1 issue of Archie Comics will introduce a new character, Kevin Keller.
He's gay.
The first storyline will have Kevin beat Jughead in a hamburger-eating contest and then rebuff the advances of Riverdale tramp Veronica.
This introduction is one that is long-overdue, as I have always thought that Archie Comics were pretty gay.
