Here are a few things I observed at the Best Coast concert last night:
- There are a lot of short women out there - Seriously, I felt like I was surrounded by a bunch of Oompa Loompas
- The Oakland Fox Theater is still my favorite concert venue in the Bay Area
- That, to my happy relief, I wasn't the oldest person in the room - although I'm sure just my presence alone raised the median age to about 31
- Lead singer Bethany Cosentino is an AWESOME live performer - Her cover of the Fleetwood Mac classic Storms was absolutely moving!
