I got to enjoy my first ride on the newly-completed southbound direction of the Presidio Parkway yesterday, and I have to say it was pretty damn cool.

Let's hope the sections of concrete on the ceiling are affixed well. Soon after they opened the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston, a big section of flat ceiling concrete came loose and fell onto a passing car killing two south of the border immigrants inside. Some say they planned that anti-immigration defect into the design, but I'm not buying it.
ReplyDeletelol i remember reading about that. this tunnel was constructed differently, no need to worry about falling ceilings.
