Walking home last night, I noticed that the grass had been cut and the trash removed from the empty lot across the street from my apartment. My suspicions were happily confirmed this morning as I saw workers getting the site ready for the return of last years Christmas tree lot.
I loved walking by there with the smell of fresh-cut trees in the crisp, late-autumn cold air and can't wait for the arrival of the trees and wreaths.
