THE URBAN HIKER

Wuthering Heights, anyone?

I found myself on Mt. Davidson, San Francisco's topmost peak yesterday afternoon, and here are some of the shots I came home with.

This particular trek offered the best reasons for hiking around The City: an elevation high enough to allow for breathtaking views of the entire bay area, a labyrinth of sunny and shady trails that criss-cross their way around the mountain, and lots of easy access from the surrounding neighborhood streets.
