Armed with a Christmas gift card, I ran out and purchased the Sony Reader - Pocket Edition. I wasn't sure how I would feel about having one. I'm kind of old-school in the fact that I like having the book and sometimes attend book signings. You can't do that with one of these electronic readers.
I quickly found out that I love it! My first downloads were White House Diary by Jimmy Carter, and A Santangelo Story by Jackie Collins.
Yeah I said it, Jackie Collins!
I know, I know, you're saying to yourself right now "but Scott, you're so smart and witty and well-versed in a wide range of topics and issues. Really? Jackie Collins?"
I'm sorry, but I couldn't help myself. It was a FREE download, a 32-page teaser for the full-length book. Besides, we all know that no one writes good old-fashioned trash as deliciously as La Collins does.
