Well, now that the San Francisco Board of Stupidvisors have finally solved homelessness, fixed MUNI so that it now has a 96% on-time record (and staffed with friendly and conscientious drivers), and has created a business-friendly environment, allowing city residents to be hired at record numbers, the BOS now moved on to less-pressing issues like getting safe mani-pedis.
Yesterday, the public safety committee asked the board to approve a resolution that would create a "Healthy Nail Salon Recognition Program." This would allow salons that use toxin-free polishes to put a decal on their windows declaring that they are, in fact, a toxin-free salon.
(sigh)
I got *so* sick of that kind of SF BS. Notice I moved out. My blood pressure got too high living in SF and dealing with all the PC bullsh!+.
