Nothing is disturbing me more than recent calls on The White House to release photos of a dead Osama Bin Laden, just so everyone can confirm he's really dead.
We are no better than those who celebrated and danced in the streets (anyone remember the images of the Palestinians) following the attacks on September 11, 2001 if this happens.
You are never going to satisfy everyone and there will always be conspiracy theorists. Let's face it, we live in a country where some folks still believe that Elvis Presley is alive.
Allowing the publication and broadcast of the photos is going to do nothing more than stir-up a pot of shit and piss off people who not only don't like us, but want us dead and have no problem sacrificing their lives in the pursuit of that goal.
We've seen their work.
