So, the group OneMillionMoms is calling for a boycott of this season's Dancing With The Stars, which premieres September 19.
This group, which wraps itself in the Christian Family Values cloak, is all in an uproar over the casting of Chaz Bono, who underwent gender-reassignment earlier this year.
Posted on their website is this plea:
Email ABC Network and let them know that we will not tolerate LGBT subjects being forced into our homes. DWTS airs 8/7 central when children are awake and Christian families will not enhance the ratings by watching the show unless these cast members are replaced.
LGBT subjects being forced into your homes? That's almost funny, since I don't think anyone is being forced to watch anything. If you don't like what you're watching, then change the channel, assholes.
you beat me to the punch, this uproar around Chaz is so utterly ridiculous. i'm still gonna post something about this, he deserves all the support we can give him. UGH.
