I was telling a friend of mine yesterday, after seeing these in a storefront display, that I had seen some loser on the Muni Metro wearing these the day before. Then, in today's SF Chronicle, I read that they're all the rage right now and that they go for $75 to $85 a pair.
This makes, in my opinion, the guy I saw wearing these a complete loser.
I think I'm going to take a pass on this fad.
