Sometimes, it's nice to go back and revisit something you miss, even if that something is part of a life-changing event and a national tragedy.
If you get the chance, Man On Wire is a documentary that is worth seeing. It's nothing fancy, just the story of Philippe Petit's daring and dangerous high-wire crossing between the twin towers of the World Trade Center, just as construction was nearing completion. He crossed several times that day before he was arrested and charged with trespassing (charges that were eventually dropped). During one of his crossings, he laid down for several minutes and appeared to be floating between the towers.
I can only imagine how peaceful that must have been.
It was great seeing the twin towers, like seeing an old, long-lost friend.
