It was recently announced that the Red Vic Movie House, located on Haight Street, will be closing on July 25. A victim of changing movie tastes, Netflix and on-demand home movies, the final bill on the marquee will be the beloved classic Harold and Maude.
The closure will leave both the Roxie and Castro theatres as the last two repertory theatres in San Francisco.
