Goldwater, an old-school Republican, was also pro-choice and, according to his children, would have supported gay marriage, as he was against government intrusion into peoples private lives, an original core belief of the GOP.
Good to see the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision on the ridiculous Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Pursue policy on gays in the military.
