Those of my regular readers may be familiar with the vintage Toastmaster I owned, which died earlier this year. It was briefly resurrected, but it became clear there was a safety issue with it's continued use.
After a search that took several months, I finally settled on the Black&Decker, pictured above. I'm not happy with its look (it's totally plastic), but man, does it make a mean batch of toast.
