My really cool cousin Iliana and I got the chance to view a restored classic yesterday the way it was meant to be seen, on the big screen.29 minutes of the film were cut shortly after its initial release in 1927 and considered long-lost, until a 16mm print was recently found in Argentina. There are still 4 minutes of missing footage floating around somewhere.
Metropolis on the big screen was an absolute cinematic treat.
