CAN'T BUY ME LOVE

Meg Whitman has spent nearly $100 Million (of her own money, by the way) in her quest to become the next governor of California. Jerry Brown has spent a scant $500 thousand and, according to a recent poll of "likely voters" conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California, maintains a 3 percent lead over the former Ebay CEO.

The poll results were:

Brown 37%
Whitman 34%
Undecided 25%

Whitman's campaign has said they are concentrating on the "undecided" voters to push her across the finish line.

Idiots.

The poll results are very impressive and I have to give credit where credit is due. Maybe voters are seeing through Whitman's ridiculous ego-driven campaign and letting her know that she can't buy her way into Sacramento.

One can hope, right?

Just for the record, the Steamingpoop Blog wholeheartedly supports Jerry Brown's campaign for Governor.
