The bicycle protest known as "Critical Mass" has San Francisco officials looking to the East for inspiration on how to deal with the idiots who participate and not a moment too soon.
In an attempt to reel-in unruly bicycle protesters (Critical Mass was started as a way to call attention to the lack of respect to cyclists on city streets), a judge in Manhattan last month issued a ruling that would require cyclists of 50 or more who ride together, to have a permit.
That's a good start but, personally, I think about 92% of the bicyclists here in SF should just be tasered.
Then again, the Police Commission just ruled that Tasers will NOT be allowed for use by San Francisco Police.
One step forward, three back.
thanks to Ryan for his heads up on this one. He gets today's Pooper-Scooper award.
