I'm so happy to see that California State Attorney General Jerry Brown has made it official that he's running for the office of Governor, an office he held in the 70's and early '80's. He is seen above with former girlfriend Linda Ronstadt, along with Jackson Browne and The Eagles.Oh man, California in the 70's was so cool.
He was one of the first politicians I was aware of as a voter (I was 18 in 1978). Because I grew up believing certain things about government (and still do), I liked his pro-environment, pro-arts, anti big business positions.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I didn't know anything about this Meg Whitman at first. So I liked her first TV commercials when she spoke about what she'd do and what she believed. AGGHH.. but now I see she's doing the thing I ABSOLUTELY *HAAAATE*: running ads saying ZERO about her qualifications and simply attacking her opponents. &%*$*#!GGGGGGGODDDD I HAAAAAATE THAT***$$+*! Saying that someone else sucks does NOT make you any good. That's like Osama bin Laden saying that Hitler was an asshole. Doesn't make bin Laden any good. Fuckers.
yeah, she's also never voted as well.
