iSLAVE, THE NEW APP THAT'S SWEEPING CHINA

When a Chinese worker at a supplier for Apple's iPhone in China killed himself after one of the popular phones went missing, Apple began an audit of who it does business with in the communist nation and the results were not good.

It was discovered that underage workers were being forced to work 15 hour days while receiving about $50 a month salary. They also found that non-certified vendors were being used to deal with hazardous waste (which means that this hazardous waste just ended up in someones backyard or in a river polluting the environment).

Sixteen other "core" violations were found as well, with other suppliers said to have provided falsified documents during the investigation.
