I just didn't feel like going to the stock room when Sarah McLachlan walked up and asked if we had more of a particular item in the back (I believe it was glassware).I lied and told her everything we had was on the floor.

Ha! I *knew* you ("you" as a euphemism for .. for... oh you know) store clerks were just being "attitudey."
ReplyDeletelol absolutely. that's why i never ask if there is anymore in the back. although, there wasn't much of a storage area at ABC Carpet and Home, so more often than not, it would be a true statement that there wasn't more in the back.
