I had this insanely diabolical need to see Valley of the Dolls this afternoon, and managed to find it at the first store I went to. It also had a lower price sticker on than what the register rang it up for.HEH!
Obviously, it was meant for me to have this classic back in the collection.
this is my second favorite book of all time, after To Kill a Mockingbird (seriously). campiness aside, it was deliciously ahead of it's time, and even when i read it as an 18 year old, i was shocked by some of the characters choices - in the 50's and 60's! i adore jacqueline susann for her literary masterpiece.
