Being ridiculously overcharged for stuff, all in the name of organic and locally-sustainable eating.I was at Bi-Rite Market today on 18th Street and saw that they were selling a quart of Organic Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for $14.99.
WTF?
It's milk, cream, egg yokes, sugar and whatever flavouring (sigh). Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for organic and locally-sustainable eating, but $14.99 a quart? For ice cream?
Come on, gimme a break.
