With so many beef and dairy ranches, farms full of fresh produce, and hundreds of miles of beautiful places to hike within it's borders, I'm not at all surprised that the University of Wisconsin's Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has ranked Marin County as having the best overall health of any county in California.
Only 7 percent of Marin residents said their health was fair or poor compared with the state average of 18 percent.
