IN LIVING COLOR

The Smithsonian announced this morning the discovery of some rare color photos taken after the great San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.

Taken by local photographer Frederick Ives, they are being called the earliest color photos taken in the city by the bay.

What an amazing discovery, I want to see more.
