Just over a year ago, an orchid enthusiast I once knew helped me pick one out that was going to be low-maintenance and would occasionally bloom.
I was disappointed to find that it only sends up one bloom a year. However, the bloom for this year has fully-opened and will last a couple of weeks, just in time for the arrival of Spring.
Very nice.
