U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has always operated under a cloud of questionable ethics. His confirmation hearing was a new low for everyone involved, as former assistant Anita Hill accused him of sexual harassment. He rarely comments on the cases before him and tends to sit on the bench silently.
Both the New York Times and The Grio blog have been questioning some of his shady business dealings. It also appears that he may have some conflicts of interests that would typically have an elected official resigning from or thrown out of office.
