UNCUT

Apparently, it only takes 7,168 signatures to make San Francisco the butt of yet, another joke.

A few weeks ago, a proposal was qualified to appear on the ballot this coming November that would ban male circumcision in San Francisco. Should voters pass the measure (which I doubt will happen), the penalty would be a $1,000 fine and/or a sentence of one year in jail.

It has been suggested the measure is anti-Semitic, although circumcision is a Muslim custom, as well, and it's the religious slant that will cause this stupid piece of legislation to end up in the courts, wasting tax-payer money and resources.

While I'm not a fan of the procedure, it's not up to me or anyone else to tell a parent what they can or cannot do to their child's penis.

Only in San Francisco, kids, only in San Francisco.
