STATEN ISLAND FAIRY


It seems the deciding vote in favour of gay marriage in the state of New York not only came from a Republican, but it came from one who ran for office last year opposing the issue.

"If I take the Catholic out of me, which is hard to do, then absolutely they should have these rights," said Mark Grisanti (R).

Well played, Mr. Grisanti. How refreshing it is to see someone put aside their own religious beliefs to do the right thing.
